WHAT DID YOU SAY? - Street Intervention, Created for Aarhus Festuge
A massively interrupted conversation, a rendezvous of sounds and breaths and rhythm.
Meet Sally, Sara and Sina, three over-the-top, very non-conventional performers who are trying to put on their show. Meanwhile, all the non-verbal communication between them causes so much trouble, that what we see in the end is a show of the no-show.
They start the walk in a park or a square, and curiously wander towards their location, gathering audience until they are ready to start the show.
For all ages and all languages, this 20 minute-piece embodies elements of Gibberish (invented words), Clown and Buffon, comically exploring the problems of communication in the “era of communication”.
This is a performance created by Lusus Theatre, in collaboration with SPAA -Street Performing Arts Association.

Lusus Theatre arises from collaborative artistic processes, with cultural diversity as its core.
With both Danish and international artists, the group aims to create and develop a space where stage art shortens gaps, builds bridges, and expands communication, bringing a sense of belonging for its members and its audience.
Lusus Theatre aims to create original, relevant and significant work that emerges from the intercultural context of contemporary life.
Lusus means playfulness in Latin and it is what we believe in and practice in our creative process and onstage.
This collaboration is the first of many between Lusus Theatre and SPAA - Street Performing Arts Association
